Some trips are not about where you go.
They’re about how you feel while you’re there.
This time in Greece felt exactly like that.
Soft, warm, a little chaotic, a little emotional… but in the best way.
We went there to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and somehow the whole week turned into one of those memories you wish you could slow down.
The first thing I noticed when we arrived was the view.
You know those moments when you look around and everything feels unreal for a second?
The ocean, the light, the colors, the air… it just felt peaceful.
And when life moves fast most of the time, those moments feel even more special.
I also cut my hair shorter before the trip, and I don’t know why but every time I change something small about my look, my mood changes too.
That’s something I always believe in — when you change your energy, everything around you feels different.
Most of the days were simple.
Beach, food, walking, laughing, getting ready for dinner, doing makeup in the hotel mirror, taking too many pictures, forgetting to charge my camera, fixing things last minute…
real life, but with a better view.
We spent a lot of time near the water.
Sometimes just sitting, sometimes swimming, sometimes doing nothing at all.
And honestly, doing nothing in a beautiful place is one of my favorite things.
Food in Greece is dangerous in the best way.
Every time we went to a restaurant, I wanted to order everything.
Seafood, pasta, salads, desserts, drinks… and always with a view that makes you stay longer than you planned.
There was even a moment when the waitress told us we were ordering too much, which made it even funnier.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was shopping with my mom.
Not because we needed anything, but because those little moments — trying jewelry, finding random cute things, laughing about what we bought — are the things you remember later.
She always finds something.
Scarves, bags, jewelry, things you don’t plan to buy but somehow feel right in the moment.
And I love that energy.
When you see something and you just like it without overthinking.
That’s actually very close to how I see fashion too.
Sometimes a piece doesn’t make sense on paper.
But when you wear it, it feels right.
And that feeling is everything.
We also had those small imperfect moments — my camera dying, ordering the wrong food, getting too much sun, changing plans last minute — but those are the moments that make the trip feel real.
Not perfect.
Just alive.
On the last day, we walked a little further than usual and found a quiet place near the water.
We sat there, ordered juice, stayed in the sun, and I remember thinking how fast time moves when you’re actually happy.
Trips like this always remind me why I love creating.
Because everything is connected — places, memories, mood, colors, people, the way you feel in your body, the way you dress, the way you show up.
That’s the same feeling I always try to bring into NMOUD.
Not just clothes.
Not just design.
A mood.
A moment.
A version of yourself you want to stay in a little longer.
And Greece felt exactly like that.
Soft, warm, emotional…
and impossible to forget.
